CEO & Co-Founder
Toby Rush is a twenty year industry veteran with extensive deep tech experience as both a founder and an investor. Currently, he is CEO and co-founder of Redeem, a company unlocking Web3 for the world using phone numbers.
Previously, Rush led the International Technology investments Team for Ant Group, the payments subsidiary of Chinese tech giant Alibaba Group. Prior to that, he was CEO of ZOLOZ, an Alibaba digital identity platform. ZOLOZ evolved from EyeVerify, which Rush founded in 2012, and which became a wholly-owned subsidiary of Ant Group in 2016 after creating a novel eye-based biometrics used by Wells Fargo, RSA and Citi.
He also co-founded and led Rush Tracking Systems, a computer vision and RFID solutions venture, to a successful exit to a Private Equity firm. Toby has a BS in Engineering from Kansas State University and lives in Kansas City, Kansas.
Kenny Conklin III
COO & Co-Founder
Kenny Conklin III is an accomplished executive who has been successful launching and helping run businesses as a c-level officer, board member, advisor and investor. At Redeem, he is channeling his expertise as co-founder and COO to unlock Web3 for the world using phone numbers.
Previously, Conklin was the President of Analytico Trading, Inc., a cryptocurrency market maker. Additionally, he was the COO of AzimuthZero, a family investment office, President and COO of Farmobile, an agtech startup that sold to AGI, and SVP of BATS Global Markets Inc, a global stock exchange operator that sold to CBOE Inc.
He is involved in various startups and boards and was initially trained out of college as a financial analyst at Bank of America. Conklin holds a Masters in Computer Science from the University of Kansas, a BS in Economics and Business from Kansas State University and lives in Kansas City, Kansas.
